This benefit, fully funded by the Department of the Treasury, is as reliable as Social Security, entirely free, and non-tax deductible. It can be utilized for a variety of essential services, including in-home care, board and care, assisted living communities, and private-pay nursing homes.
Are You Eligible? The only requirement for this invaluable benefit is that our patients must have served as war veterans. They do not need to have:
Ø Endured a service-connected injury
Ø Retired from the military
Ø Seen combat
Eligible individuals include:
Ø Surviving spouses
Ø Single veterans
Ø Married veterans
Ø Two veterans who are married
